God help us—the tragedy of BP’s Oil Spill (that’s killing 19% of the US’s fish, and 50% of the planet’s tuna breeding grounds) is a chance to change the course of our country, and wake up to clean, renewable energy independence.

Please, President Obama: let’s not blow it the way we blew 9/11.
