Will the enthusiasm for green fade? Probably. Will Detroit return to pickup trucks and SUVs, always safer financially in the shortrun? Or will the bailout (you’re welcome, Big Three) teach them that they need to think longterm, as well, if they want to once again lead the world in car-making?
