Manitoba Harvest Hemp Seed Butter: finally Omega 3 tastes good.

Want a vegan alternative to mercury-laden fish oil? Need a vegan source of protein?

Hemp oil is a great way to get it—too bad every product I’ve reviewed over the last few years, with the exception of Bija’s chocolate truffles, tastes how a 1970s Health Food Store probably smelled.

So I’m grateful to have discovered Manitoba Harvest Hemp Seed Butter—the green goodness actually tastes good, goes great on bagels, toast, pasta sauce, smoothies or shakes. This is good enough to be one of the 10% of natural products that I’ll actually continue to go out and buy after getting a review sample in the mail.

And that’s even before considering the good folks (longtime friends of ele) and company behind the product—Manitoba Harvest, a Canadian farmer-owned cooperative that runs a kosher and organic facility. Check ’em out.
