Recently, I have been in the throes of trying something new: I became a full-time yoga teacher.
This is something I have dreamed of doing for really long time.
Teaching yoga all day long, being in a studio all day long and practicing yoga all day long.
The thing is, this is exhausting. I find it hard to be an inspiration to people when I am running around from job to job and dealing with the day-to-day bullshit that comes with any job. There are people I don’t want to work with, there are studios or gyms that I don’t want to deal with, there are people who make my life miserable and there are things that I hate about life. The passive-aggressive nature of the job.
I really don’t hate yoga; I am glad that I have the opportunity to reflect in this space and can shake the day off at the end of the day or even in the middle of the day. The thing is, I don’t hate yoga. I love teaching it, I love reading about it, I still love practicing it.
I get to die at the end of a every practice in corpse pose.
I get to re-set and love all over again!
Yoga teaches me everyday. I love my yoga.
