Women are beautiful.
We are blessed with curves, long hair that falls painstakingly so.
We are pieces of art.
I have learned to ditch the compare game that sometimes happens when I see a goddess and just appreciate the divinity of us all.
So sisters, the next time you see a beautiful woman tell her so. Salute her magnificence.
It doesn’t take away from our beauty by acknowledging that of another’s; if anything it adds to it.
Phenomenal woman ~ Maya Angelou
Pretty women wonder where my secret lies.
I’m not cute or built to suit a fashion model’s size
But when I start to tell them,
They think I’m telling lies.
I say,
It’s in the reach of my arms,
The span of my hips,
The stride of my step,
The curl of my lips.
I’m a woman
Phenomenally.
Phenomenal woman,
That’s me.
