30 Day Startup Video Blog, Day 6: Life’s Short. Get Sh*t Done. High Five!

Jeanne Eisenhaure Daily Video Blog 6

Today I ran into Timmy O’Neill, Professional Climber and Chairman of the Board of Adaptive Sports Nonprofit Paradox Sports.

Timmy is one of the bright lights in the world that brings energy and passion to every encounter. I hadn’t seen Timmy in at least six months and we caught up on his whirlwind adventures and snapped a Bike Stylish Instagram photo.

Twice during our conversation, Timmy mentioned death, not in a fatalistic way, but it just came up.

I mentioned this up to him and he paused to say ,“Life’s Short. Get Shit Done. High five!” and then we high fived.

Timmy went into Espressoria, the coffee shop and I hopped on my bike and filmed my response to the interaction. It left me feeling motivated and happy.

Take some of Timmy O’Neill’s energy with you in this great short on him called Wild Love.

My Forrest Yoga Panic Attack and What Jim Carrey Taught Me About Failure

I worked diligently through the day and paused to go to a Forrest Yoga class in the evening—where I caught up to my anxiety. Many who have done a Forrest Yoga class can attest to the powerful experience during the practice, in particular during the deep and long holds.

My anxiety surrounding my responsibilities, deadlines and overall fear of failure came roaring in and I actually rolled up my mat and left class—something I have never done in a yoga class before.

I jetted back to my office to address my looming obligations. Before I started up on my evening work, I filmed my reaction to the event and reference a Jim Carrey commencement Speech that has been a beautiful reminder that we can fail in anything regardless of whether it is the safe or risk option.

With all of that said, check out Truth and Consequences: My 30 Day Startup Video Blog, Day 6—Life’s Short. Get Shit Done. High Five!
