Where would we be without our mothers?
For starters, we would not exist. That pivotal role of being the creators of humankind makes women, and mothers, the most powerful people on our planet.
That is not to mention the role of nurturer and protector. Mothers are fierce and tireless when it comes to taking care of their young. This is true from the tiniest birds in their nest to human beings.
When, in some unfortunate cases, mothers are less than desirable, the scars left on their young ones last a lifetime. When, on the other hand, we have wonderful mothers, but lose them through death, the loss is eternal.
That is why we must cherish our mothers. Tomorrow is not given. So do it today. Every day.
