Anxiety on the Battlefield.

We are all capable of having the willingness to learn, to recognise that life doesn’t have to be chaotic, nor does it have to be feared or misunderstood, but experienced and embraced with love and happiness – happiness is our birth right and we deserve to shine, be loved and valued. However, when you’re stood at the foot of Everest, the question comes – how do you climb it when you have nothing to assist with the climb? Equally, when you go to war with your emotions, how do you face the perils of the battle field with no army behind you? There has to be a shift in focus. A shift in energy. The obstacle is not the mountain, nor is it the battle field, but rather the human that stands there exhausted with inner conflict and turmoil.  Life is fragile and we all have our own mountains to climb and battles to fight, but we do not have to do it alone.

Our spiritual journeys can be long and arduous with much to learn, but if we do not pay deep attention to our lives, our perception of life remains the same. Our behavioural patterns repeat, and change does not happen for the greater good. Paying attention to our hearts and being mindful will allow us to reconnect with ourselves and we can only do this if we are truthful and open our eyes and see, just see.  Change is possible, but only when we truly understand that it is necessary to move forward – time stands still for no-one.

It is time to take a deep breath and realise that, “Courage doesn’t always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, ‘I will try again tomorrow’.”  Mary Anne Radmacher.
