I’m officially launching my own business. For the first time. I’ve always worked the 9 to 5 gigs as a lawyer or at a non-profit, but I’ve been feeling the draw toward entrepreneurship for the last couple of years. Ideas came to me on a constant basis for years that never materialized. And finally, now, one has.
How did this happen? Honestly, I allowed it to happen. Every time I was curious about something, I pursued it and allowed the results to turn me in the right direction. Did I get a lot of headwind? Was I pushing against the grain? Then I pivoted and considered a new idea. Was I receiving lots of inspiration? Then I wrote it all down so I would forever remember the ideas. Who knows, maybe the idea wasn’t meant to come to fruition until years later.
This business has absolutely been lead by my curiosities. From an idea of making wine, to fermenting it under the full moon, to wanting to go to moon circles and finding none, to deciding to lead my own. New ideas come to me every week and I write them down and follow up. How does this make me feel? Was my first event successful? How do I improve it?
And it’s blossoming! And I couldn’t be happier. Remember to always follow your curiosities. The trail of breadcrumbs toward the path you’re meant to live.
