The word “feminism” has gotten a bad wrap…by none other than women, who have turned something lovely and powerful into something ugly and angry. A woman can exhibit the essence of feminism without pounding the pulpit. However, we must remember that years of male dominance have attributed to the need for women to break free of sexist attitudes and practices…..so it may be a while before all the ruckus settles down – independence was not won by sipping tea.
