Deep inside the body lies all the trauma — trauma from this life, trauma from the last life, from your childhoods.. from your births, your deaths, your yesterdays… All the pain, all the wounds that continue to breed, that continue to saturate the layers of your soul — they are all there, waiting for you to expose them to the elements.
But our blankets of shame keep protecting us. They tell us that anything beyond them is dangerous, that death is awaiting them.. And I tell you, they are not wrong — death is awaiting them but not the type of death you are afraid of, no.. A different kind of death awaits. Death of your ego, death of your pasts, death of your conditionings, death of your wounds… exhale.
These blankets were once fundamental for our survival — they kept us alive. They were our protectors but we must gain the understanding that that time is gone and it is gone forever. We must understand that we are not here to merely survive this life; we are here to live, we are here to love, we are here to dance with the insecurities of the universe.
The stories within us not only stay but control our lives until we open them, until we look at them, until we once again relive the very nightmares that go on haunting our beings. So take off these blankets of shame, and come to meet the one who exists beneath the layers — for the one who exists beneath the layers, is you.
A message…
“The process of healing is arduous, terrifying at times and seemingly never ending and yet, we keep digging for more. What is it that keeps us going while we are face to face with the darkest parts of ourselves? There has to be something — I have discovered that love is the answer. Being honest with where you are, with who you are and surrendering to the walls of fear that you have created for yourself. We must let those walls crumble, trusting that existence is with us and that love is waiting for us on the other side. When you reach the other side, allow love to absorb into the very marrow of your bones and watch what happens.. suddenly, you are transformed.”
