How my Trauma Became my Dharma.
Yogic scientist, artist, healer, writer, adventurer, sattvic cultivator. Current creative project: “Kundalini Rising.” Adam Clayton Hall is a yogi, artist, writer, and activist residing in Denver, Colorado, where he is most often found solo exploring the surrounding Rocky Mountains in pursuit of greater spiritual ascension. In early 2020, and following a period of intense yogic practice and a near-death experience, Adam underwent a week-long Kundalini awakening during which he first witnessed the primordial life force and received divine visions calling for the creation of his first literary and cinematic project entitled “Kundalini Rising.” Kundalini Rising is a multimedia epic surrounding Adam’s life experiences in self-exploration through yoga and meditation. The story details Adam’s spiritual journey of self-healing from anxiety and depression and related alcohol and substance abuse and his relentless pursuit of truth and meaning. Adam’s writing attempts to expound upon the work of Carl G. Jung and and esoteric scholars by detailing his personal experiences involving the union of body, mind and spirit through yogic practices, meditation and the ancient sciences of alchemy, astrology and sacred geometry, all of which are presented in Kundalini Rising as physical evidence of the laws of the Universe as explained through Buddhist and yogic philosophies, quantum physics and esoteric wisdom. During this awakening period, Adam was also called to introduce the healing arts and philosophy to all of humanity and thereafter began his teaching journey by obtaining his 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) designation from This Land Yoga in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Adam furthered his study and teaching of yogic practices with Samadhi Yoga Sangha in Denver, Colorado, obtaining an additional 200-hour RYT certification in Hatha and Vinyasa Yoga. Adam currently continues his formal yogic study with Guru Singh and Brett Larkin of Kundalini University, Jai Dev Singh of Life Force Academy, and other scholars and teachers of Kundalini and Tantric Yogas, and in early 2023, Adam is scheduled to receive a designation as a certified teacher of Kundalini Yoga. Adam strives to apply Buddhist and yogic philosophies to all of his professional and personal practices with the aim to resolve conflicts within relationships, ease and/or eliminate altogether the effects of trauma, and promote organizational wisdom and societal change. Prior to his career in the healing and creative arts, Adam served as a litigation and trial attorney with the renowned law firm of Crowe & Dunlevy, where he held the position of Shareholder and Director in the firm’s Oklahoma City office. During his over 16-year legal career, Adam managed and directed state-wide litigation efforts primarily in the arena of eminent domain and condemnation, and advised a wide variety of corporate clients in the fields of real estate, energy and natural resources, finance and securities, and construction. Adam now employs his legal expertise to advance awareness of social justice issues including, but not limited to, climate change, environmental conservation, regenerative agriculture and soil health.
