How to create a Life by Design
Alex Arenz is a passionate, compassionate human being, which led her to become a Life Coach. She believes that to live a fulfilled life we first need to deeply know ourselves. It is then that we can discover what it is we genuinely want, and gain insight into what constitutes an authentic life to each of us. Alex assists her clients on this path of discovery and helps them to establish clear and actionable steps that they can take in order to reach their goals.
Alex was born and raised in Germany with an innate hunger to discover the world and to live life on her own terms. After her degree in Translation she went on a round-the-world trip, her big dream at the time. For a few years she worked many random jobs and saved every penny to reach that goal.
On return to Germany she tried to walk a ‘regular’ path and started a full-time job. She soon realised that this wasn’t for her. What she truly wanted was to work for herself and be location independent. (Back in 2011 the term ‘Digital Nomad’ wasn’t anything she has ever heard of.) She took the leap, quit her job, and began working as a freelancer, which has allowed her to live a nomadic lifestyle for the last 9 years.
Alex is dedicated to help her clients to hone-in on their unique vision and inspire them to fulfil their ambitions. She specialized in the field of Mind Body Coaching, with particular focus on stress & anxiety management, and as part of that supporting people with chronic dis-ease or pain. She believes that the foundation of it all is to cultivate a deep self-connection and inner calm. A stressed body and mind is an obstacle to reaching ones goals and living ones authentic life.
In 2019 Alex finished her studies with the Life Coaching Academy, Australia, with a Certificate IV in Life Coaching and a Certificate in Wellness Coaching. She has been a dedicated student of (Ashtanga) Yoga for nearly 10 years, which she considers her practice of self-discovery.
In her Coaching she draws from her own experience of overcoming burnout, multiple health issues, severe anxiety and depression, which inspired her to accumulate in-depth knowledge in particular around the areas of: mindfulness, stress management, yoga, self-development, nutrition, communication, healthy relationships, the human body & mind as well as the interconnectedness of the two, and more. She combines this knowledge with practical coaching tools she acquired through her studies with the Life Coaching Academy.
Alex consciously chooses a simple and minimalist lifestyle, with lots of movement, time in nature and some adventure sprinkled in. She loves getting up way before sunrise when the world is still asleep, and she never gets tired of enjoying little things like watching a sunset, cooking a fresh meal, listening to the early morning silence and eating ice cream.
