Alissa M. Jebitsch, MS strongly believes that if we share our stories, we create a safe space for other people to share their own. The safe space also allows us to hold our inner children close, so they know they are free. She thinks a large part of healing is creating what she calls a healing team—the people who will support you during your journey healing from trauma. When she shared her own story to some people in her family, she said, “The eggshell walking is over, I’m not doing that anymore. It ends with me.” She was finished with brushing secrets under the rug. She told everyone to throw away the brooms.

She has recently started dancing again after a long hiatus and encourages you to find your passion. Reclaim your stage. Regardless of what happened in your past, you have control now. You get to decide how your story ends.
