Anne Sherry is a latchkey kid from the 1970s and the “good kid” from her dysfunctional family system, which means she had little to no access to feelings and emotions and masked her way through her 20s and 30s, predictably becoming a therapist at age 40 to try and figure out what the heck being human is! She lives in Asheville, North Carolina with her husband, 10-year-old son, and three cats. She co-hosts the podcast Latchkey Urchins and Friends. We humorously, seriously, and courageously explore this topic of trauma from so many angles and are one of those numerous voices attempting to tell our truth and make it safe for others to do the same.
