Alternative Healing has been a part of Catarina’s journey for 12 years. It all started when her own mother began her studies in Ayurvedic Medicine. This opened up the world of yoga for her, which wound up serving as a gateway to self-development and a life that thrives on physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual wellness. Her growing love for yoga inspired her to become a vinyasa certified yoga teacher in 2015. She continued her studies in yin and hatha yoga in India. Her deep love for alternative healing expanded when immersing herself in gardening, herbalism, wilderness therapy, massage workshops, meditation, qigong, the shamanic healing arts, plant medicine, and somatic therapy.  Alongside this alternative healing path, her soul is fed by her love for poetry, singing, and creative writing. She has self-published two poetry books, Tender Microcosm and Synesthesia for Breakfast. She considers herself a lifetime student of the holistic healing path.
