Motherhood. Flex in the Flux
Christine Anastasia is a Working Mom Coach, Ed.M with 10+ years working in the higher education space and also a young working parent. She is a mom of three, Emma (6) and Zoe (3) and Alexander (6 months). A few years into motherhood and the global pandemic of 2020, which in some ways seems like the normal thing to say, has offered her a brief pause and window into her life after being laid off from her job of 10 years. She realized after about four years that she’s been keeping a quiet little voice inside of her cooped up with lots to say about the motherload of working full-time and raising a family, and it seems like the time is now to share a little bit of the chaos and low-level anxiety that she thinks so many working moms can relate to, one way or another. Whether we are mothers with villages, mothers without them, single moms, frantic moms, survival moms, and soon-to-be moms, somehow we all learn different ways to go along our path. In the stillness of this pandemic, her voice seems to be ready to share the magic that happens within the four walls of her home. She is your specialized “village” coach, someone to talk to about practical things in real life, like working full-time and raising a young family. She will also hold space for your thoughts. Motherhood is unique to each person; there is no “one size” fits all program. With her heart-centered approach, she will intimately look at your motherhood space to help make it work for you and your family. We won’t be looking at the picket fence across the street, we will focus on you. This is the first step to embrace motherhood and thrive. And after all, we all know that when mothers are thriving, their families are too, and each season will flourish more. You can check out her website or follow her on Instagram.
