Life in Rescue Dog Advocacy: Death by Shelter affects us All
Will the reader follow me? Asks Verlyn Klinkenburg.
To which I answer,
It’s all about how one should feel when reading the words of any one writer.
I want to feel aligned, that I resonate, somehow, with an author. Whatever is going on in the world, I want to feel that I’m not alone, that there exists at least one other person, who feels as I do.
From speaking on the heart of animal lovers to the plight of dogs in harm’s way in the South’s beleaguered shelters to advocating for coexistence with wildlife here on the Front Range of Colorado to issues of social justice, it is my authentic desire to connect with the like-minded, the tenderhearted, the sensitive, empathic, animal-loving souls among us.
Animals need humans now more than ever, and animal-loving spirits need to connect and join the chorus of those singing on their behalf.
If you’re a like-minded spirit looking for your tribe, send a note in the Comment section with your email, and let’s continue the dialogue together…
