Derek Beres has devoted his life to exposing people to international music, yoga and mythology as a means of creating better individuals and a more understanding global culture. Derek is the Creative Director of the Tadasana International Festival of Yoga & Music, where he spends his days working on his favorite topics, yoga and music. One half of global music producers EarthRise SoundSystem, he is also the creator of EarthRise Yoga, which he has taught at Equinox Fitness since 2004. Recently relocated to Santa Monica, he keeps busy writing books, as well as contributing to Women’s Health, Yoga Journal, Departures, Huffington Post, Relix and others.
