Surviving instead of Living: Why Lockdown Regulations didn’t Change much for Me…
Dignity Boikanyo is from South Africa and grew up in a village called Borakalalo, but she currently resides in Katlehong which is a township in Johannesburg. She identifies as a black feminist who also advocates for racial equality through the mini articles she writes. Her passions stem from her love for law as she is currently working toward being a candidate attorney. She got her LLB degree at the University of Johannesburg and graduated in 2019. She hopes to make an impact as an attorney with regards to the way little black boys and girls see themselves and the aspirations they have. She hopes for a world where we are ruled by knowledge, understanding, love, and our capabilities and not by division, prejudices and fear.
