Dr. Nisha Vidyasagar

Dr. Nisha Vidyasagar is a Clinical Psychologist and has a doctorate in Psychology. Over the past 12 years, she has worked with a wide range of clients and in multiple settings, including medical, educational, and corporate institutions. She has extensive experience in psychological assessment, psychotherapy and counselling. She has dealt with behavioural and emotional issues of children and adults.

Her focus has been to help clients develop an introspective, problem solving and a proactive approach to handle life’s crisis.

Presently she is working with Unified Brain Health Care in Chennai and during her spare time focuses on academic and creative writing. She has done extensive research and published academic articles on children. As part of her doctoral research, she had developed a cognitive training tool to help enhance cognitive and academic skills of children.

Also a mother, she derives her inspiration for writing from her daughter who loves books. She loves to write stories for children with the aim of building resilience in them in the face of life’s challenges.
