Emma Carter

Emma is a life long student in earth school.  She is learning and growing on the goal line (3D reality, life in the physical) and the soul line (awakening and ascending in the spiritual realm).
She has a BS in Journalism from CU, Boulder (’86).  She went on to become a certified Yoga Instructor, Healing Touch practitioner, licensed Cosmetologist, and most recently a University of Santa Monica graduate in Spiritual Psychology.
Emma’s curious spirit has led her on a colorful path involving extensive global travel and a wide array of jobs.  These include being the cook on a small yacht across the Indian Ocean (Australia to Africa), working at Cosmopolitan in NY, freelance hair & makeup artist in the fashion industry, Salon owner and operator, Yoga Teacher, and Intuitive Spiritual Counselor.
She is a grateful beneficiary of guidance and counsel from professionals in the field of mental health including psychiatrists, psychologists, and therapists, as well as from practitioners across a wide variety of healing arts modalities. Learning, growing and healing through recovery from incest and eating disorders has been central to her earth school curriculum.
Fairly social for an introvert, Emma thrives on deep and meaningful connection with individuals or small groups.  Large groups can be overwhelming.  Alone time is cherished.
She is in the process of launching a new career which includes women’s healing retreats and 1:1 intuitive counseling services. Social Connections and website to come.
