Evan Rapoport is the product lead for Nature for Climate in Google Research. He first joined Google in 2011 and has always found ways to work on projects in conservation technology. He founded Tidal, a moonshot at Google X focused on ocean conservation and food security. He was the founding CEO of Oceankind (a major philanthropic funder of ocean conservation) and the Senior Technology Fellow at Conservation International. He’s taught thousands of people about moonshot thinking and taking projects “from idea to launch”. He loves traveling the world to see its most wild places and connect up close with animals. He lives in Los Angeles with his wife and his favorite places are Hawaii and Kenya.
