The multi-faceted Lyndon Harewood, musically known as Gengis Don, has always had an intense passion for creating and crafting music. Don developed his musical capabilities at an early age, having recognized his natural talent where most great musicians find theirs: in church. After graduating with a degree in accounting and a minor in music composition, Don decided to fulfill his lifelong dream of becoming a full-time musician. Don moved back to the New York area and formed the popular hip hop/jazz band Gengis Don & the Empire in 2018. As bandleader, Don has shared stages with award-winning acts, such as Solange, Braxton Cook and Tiffany Haddish, to name a few. “Power,” the new single by Gengis Don, will be available on all streaming platforms on April 23rd.
