I’m John Racine and I’m a very simple guy and one who has been beaten the crap out of in life and yet I still find hope and solace.

I’ve dealt with many things in my life, many things that would cripple many people including:

• being a tormented fat child with very few friends
• believing I was being punished by God when I became Type I Diabetic at age 10
• having my mom’s verbally and psychologically abusive boyfriend constantly giving me a hard time
• working my dream job at Walt Disney World
• 2 bankruptcies
• 13 failed business ventures
• Working for tyrannical bosses who couldn’t manage their heads out of their asses
• firing my best friend/business partner and bringing him back in
• moving around the country and jumping from job to job because I wasn’t fulfilled
• met celebrities and almost ran 1 over with a car
• walked out of a job without a safety net
• overdrawn my bank account by $1,000’s at 1 time
• followed the money to bring in a business partner and ultimately realizing how messed up that was
• spoken on stages around the world including Dubai, Bahrain, Bahamas, Alaska, Canada and Mexico
• met US Presidents, Kings, Princesses, musicians, actors, chefs, authors and entrepreneurs
• Written 2 books and coauthored a 3rd

Having been through all of this craziness, I have found there to be a simple truth: The only thing you can control in life is how you react to life

Acknowledging this, I move through life accepting I can deal with whatever may be thrown at me. Call it test, I ace it. Call it a mountain, I scale it. Call it impossible, I try anyways. I control how I react and I choose to overcome, and so can you.
