Kate Rushton was born and raised in a small town in Connecticut, where she first discovered her passion for creativity. Following high school, she wanted to help others with their struggles and spread the word about mental illness. At this time, Kate attended Arizona State University, where she graduated with a BA in Psychology. She moved to Boulder, Colorado for two years, but found herself back in sunny Phoenix, Arizona where she currently resides. Kate is a writer, singer, and musician. She enjoys jogs at the park, hiking, spontaneous adventures, and relaxed wine nights with her friends. She also volunteers at the animal shelter where she rescued her adorable pup, Starla (Starbaby) from!
