Ode to Healing in Quarantine (Poem)
Kim Allen is a vegan powered adventurer, hug enthusiast, mushroom lover, Jiu Jitsu brown belt and wannabe farmer. Kim lives in Crested Butte, Colorado and can often be found exploring the mountains, biking, hiking, skiing, paddle boarding or practicing yoga. Kim strives to always be learning and believes in the power of vulnerability, getting out of her comfort zone, living with intention and letting go of the ego. Kims favorite mantras are: be curious; be courageous; be patient; be water; be the witness; and dont be afraid of dying, be afraid of not living. Kim advocates and supports efforts for animal rights/anti-speciesism; anti-racism; mental health awareness; family rights; leave-no-trace; local farming; and the legalization, regulation, education and decriminalization of marijuana, hemp and other plant medicines.
