Leah Dawkins RN, BSN, MHA has been a practicing nurse and nurse leader for over 30 years. She has a myriad of life experience including divorce, remarriage, blended family, a Christian who actively teaches and practices yoga, a vegetarian married to a carnivore, and lives in a small town in the south and is a mother to chickens and a stray cat named Atticus. Leah has been teaching yoga for the past two years and has been practicing for twelve. She found the mat during her divorce and believes in her soul it saved her life. Most recently, Leah has finished writing her first adult fiction novel, Home Cries the Soul. She and her husband have also launched a partnership combining their shared experiences.
