All approaches can be divided into two categories:
Theoretical.
Empirical.

Basic Empirical Methods
Experience (experiment) – actions that are performed in relation to the subject in order to confirm or refute the hypothesis.
Observation is the perception of all characteristics without disturbing the natural environment.
Measurement – the study of the quantitative features of the phenomenon / subject / object of study. In scientific and term papers, you can also use such empirical methods as analogy and modeling.
How to Determine the Methods for Term Paper?
It is not worth using all the methods in term paper. Firstly, you will not have enough volume, and secondly, it is not advisable. To choose the right ones, evaluate their relevance and effectiveness in the applied topic.
Methods vary depending on the field in which the course work is performed. For example, psychology implies the use of an exclusively empirical methodology. And philosophy or cultural studies, for example, is based on theoretical methods. Several methods must be used in the work. Therefore, when choosing, consider the completeness of each and the most successful combinations.
