A Death Cab for Cutie Lyric that will change your mind about Fear.
I’m Linzi Shriner, a wife, and mother to three beautiful daughters based in Tonganoxie, KS. Life has had its fair share of love, battles, victories, and surprises…moments of sheer exhaustion as well as pure joy. Shortly after our youngest daughter was born, our world changed forever. We discovered she has a rare genetic condition called Tuberous Sclerosis Complex, which caused epilepsy and Autism. After her diagnosis, I lost myself. I was physically present, but not mentally present…a shell. My life had changed direction in a way I could have never expected, and the grief of the loss of what I thought my life would be was devastating. I felt invisible and trapped in my grief and sadness, constantly overwhelmed and angry. I knew I needed help, so I leaned heavily into both therapy and my Yoga practice. It was my light and saving grace from a very dark time in my life.
Yoga became my passion, so I decided to take a leap of faith and become a yoga teacher. It was the best decision I have ever made for myself! I want to shine this light into other people’s lives. I want to teach the many tools of yoga and how to truly connect with the essence of “self.” I want to help others realize that we are enough, we are beautiful, and nothing about us needs to change. We need only look inside ourselves and learn to be truly present and grateful.
Namaste!
