Falling for Myself
Lisa O’Neil-Guerci: I am a writer with a lifelong passion for language, communication, and creative self-expression of all kinds. Poetry in particular is my soul’s True North. At 56, I’ve lived a singularly non-linear life, and am publishing a memoir about my experience of being raised in a cult from the age of five, which I escaped at 26. It will be published next year. Coming by this year’s end will be my debut book of poetry entitled “Souldust; a Collection of Reflections.” Look for it at Golden Dragonfly Press, and watch this space for my poems! I work as an advocate and caregiver for the elderly and challenged community, am the proud mother of two successful adult children, and a besotted Gigi to two grandcherubs. I live in a little lake town suburb of NYC, and make my home with twin Hemingway cats. Having worn many hats in my lifetime, Writer fits best.
