Mara Rose is the founder and CEO of Hatch Lab, a Boulder, Colorado company that partners with expert food artisans, farmers, and herbalists to teach you fermentation and canning, urban homesteading, and herbalism skills. Hatch Lab offers easy and entertaining online classes, informative articles, and maker kits to help you live healthier, more sustainable, creative lives. An experienced educator and social entrepreneur, Mara received an MA in Technology in Education from Columbia University’s Teachers College and an MBA from Columbia Business School. Mara lives in Boulder, Colorado with her husband and son; they love growing fruits, veggies, and lots of medicinal herbs. Mara is a native of the Bay Area and spent a decade in Brooklyn before moving to Boulder.
