Marcy Mechanic is a lifelong New Yorker, and public relations executive who relocated five years ago to South Florida, where she lends her PR smarts to non-profit causes. Marcy loves living five minutes from the beach, enjoys film, theater, and totally tries to find a piece of humor in everything—even her battle with depression. Favorite line from her favorite song: “When your weary heart says go, talk through the tears.” Her daughter now is one of “New York City’s Heroes” – helping Coronavirus patients as a Physician’s Assistant at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital – having graduated school with Honors.
