Maria Weeks is an eclectic scholar, artist, writer and musician. She has cultivated great empathy and depth as part of the process of navigating her jaggedly complex life journey. She tries to see the light in people, to bond people to nature and to help facilitate earnest self-expression. She has an MA in Community Counseling and an MS in Thanatology (the study of death and dying) and is still trying to find the best ways to apply this knowledge to help others. She loves camping, hiking, biking, swimming, rafting and spending time contemplating outdoors! :)
