Dr. Mary Shackelton has devoted her professional life to the places where plant medicine and health intersect. As the owner of Holistica Integrative Care in downtown Boulder, Mary treats a patients seeking treatments for a wide range of conditions, as well as practices leading towards optimal health.
Dr. Shackelton graduated from Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine in Tempe, AZ. She also holds a Masters in Public Health from San Diego State University and a Bachelors of Science in Psychology from the University of California at Riverside. She was the naturopathic physician on staff for the first disabled ascent of Mt. Everest in 1998. In addition, she is the co-founder of Insulite Laboratories, a company dedicated to reversing disorders related to insulin.
