Maria Garcia is a professionally trained Gestalt Psychotherapist and Psychologist with over 10 years experience in mental health. Maria has been working between the United Kingdom, Spain, and Germany supporting adolescents in foster care, as well as adults with addiction, anxiety, stress, trauma, depression, and various emotional issues. Currently seeing clients privately in Canterbury, Maria has also developed a project called Unfiltered Motherhood whose aim is to make matresence visible. In this project, she offers therapy groups for women to talk and work through motherhood honestly, as well as workshops for expectant parents in preparation for the emotional impact of parenthood.
