A Therapeutic Model to Heal our Relationships (with ourselves & Others).
Megan Gewitz is a psychotherapist specializing in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Somatic Experiencing®, and several other trauma healing modalities. Her clinical areas of expertise include borderline personality disorder, addiction, eating disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex PTSD, and self-harm. She is also a certified Sivananda yoga teacher and has attended multiple trainings with Regena Thomashauer, or “Mama Gena,” on feminine empowerment and liberation. She often incorporates yoga postures into her work with clients and firmly believes in the power of mindfulness, yoga, and Eastern meditative practices to bring about emotional healing. Outside of her therapy practice, she loves exercising and practicing yoga—especially on yoga retreats around the world! She feels most at peace on long scooter rides across the rice paddy fields in Bali, one of her favorite places in the world. Megan can be reached on her email [email protected] or through her Instagram.
