Michael DuPont, CBS

Michael DuPont is a seasoned sales strategist with extensive experience in the media industry. He has a proven track record of successfully executing sales tactics and exceeding sales targets. He is also an effective team leader and has the necessary skills to make informed decisions. While he has a wide variety of experience in the media industry, Michael is still able to find time to mentor, motivate, and recruit new sales professionals. Based on his customers’ KPIs, it’s clear that he can provide them with the solutions they need. His ability to combine the resources of both distributors and sales teams makes him an exceptional sales strategist. He can also create a unique value proposition for his clients. 

A member of Mensa, Michael Dupont earned his bachelor’s degree in marketing and advertising from George Washington University. After graduating, he pursued his MBA at New York University’s Stern School of Business. His passion for advertising has been the main focus of his professional career.  

As an account executive for MTV Networks, Michael was responsible for overseeing the sales process for the company’s advertising sales. He was based in New York and Los Angeles, and he was able to connect with the creative team of the various networks. Sponsorship integrations for major events such as the MTV Video Music Awards and Spring Break were also handled by Michael. 

As a vice president for the ad sales division of American Online, Michael was able to oversee the company’s digital sales team and was able to negotiate deals on behalf of the company’s various properties. Before joining American Online, Michael was the sales executive for the advertising sales division of Oxygen Media.

As the group’s vice president of sales, Michael Dupont and his team were responsible for developing a strategy that would allow them to consistently exceed their revenue goals. As the executive vice president for advertising sales for Pop TV, Michael was responsible for overseeing the company’s sales department. He was also able to develop a strategy that would allow the network to re-brand its brand. During his time with the company, he was able to develop a variety of cross-platform sponsorships. 

Michael is a proud LGBTQ individual, and he works tirelessly to promote inclusivity in all aspects of his life. He also has a passion for philanthropy and regularly supports various charitable organizations. Some of his favorite projects include the New York City Food Bank and the Animal Rescue Foundation. He also regularly cycles across the country to raise money for the cancer center at Memorial Sloan Kettering. 

One of Michael‘s favorite pastimes is travel, which allows him to disconnect from the pressures of the advertising industry and recharge his soul. He also enjoys the perspective that traveling provides. Being able to see how other people live can help foreign visitors get a deeper understanding of the world.

Over the years, Michael has been an avid traveler. He also enjoys learning about new traditions and experiencing the culture of the country he’s visiting. He’s also a passionate foodie and enjoys learning about the traditional cuisine of the local communities he’s visiting.
