Hashtag Warrior: 9 Powerful Tips for Harnessing Social Media for Diabetes Advocacy …
Prisha Singh is a 16-year-old high school student from India’s capital city. According to Prisha, her greatest achievement is having accepted how she is and who she is. Living with Type-1 Diabetes since age seven, Prisha, with her mother’s support has created an empowered life for herself, and she now supports other children newly diagnosed with the condition.
Prisha has written a graphic novel that spreads awareness about type-1 Diabetes. “The Adventures of Captain Glucose” is a fiction novel that has not only romance but also action.
Prisha’s one and only best friend is her mother, Ekta, who means the world to her, and with whom she shares an unbreakable bond.
Prisha loves reading books because they tend to take her away from reality and the world. Into a whole new world – fiction is sometimes, exactly what she needs. She also enjoys swimming and playing basketball.
