Rebecca Riffel is a part time writer, traveler/adventurer and full time small business owner. She has a degree in psychology from U of A and shares her experiences and stories of overcoming trauma in hopes of helping others. She spent six months backpacking Southeast Asia, where she fell in love with traveling and learning and experiencing new cultures. She taught English in Phuket, Thailand, and moved to the Dominican Republic, where she taught 8th-12th grade in Punta Cana. She has lived in Portland, Oregon, and Maui, Hawaii, and most recently resides in Cottonwood, Arizona. She now owns and operates a bar and music venue, which has become a hub for community, artists, and musicians. When not working, globetrotting, or adventuring, she is working on completing and publishing her first novel. It’s never too late to start something new.
