Robert F. James

Robert F. James is a lecturer in the English Department at San Jose State University. In addition to teaching, he lives on and runs a small hobby farm and garden, with the goal of a more sustainable lifestyle. He’s a former John Steinbeck Fellow of Creative Writing. He lives in the Santa Cruz Mountains of California, where he has plenty of time to think about what it means to be a modern man while having his morning coffee with a herd of blacktail deer who find him particularly curious.
