As a three-sport student athlete in high school, I was fortunate to have my very supportive parents and two older brothers channel me down a successful pathway.
I began teaching and coaching at Marine City High School (MCHS) in 1987 and retired in 2019. I coached several varsity sports including football, basketball, baseball, and volleyball. I found the students and parents to be very similar to my blue-collar upbringing and fell in love with the school and community.
Marine City continues to be my home. I have transitioned into authorship while part time teaching at Austin Catholic High School. With a love for movies, I aspire to have film adaptations of my books and I’m honored to also be in the forthcoming sports documentary, Beyond the Game.
