Hi, I’m Andrew “Andy” Kirchner and I was born on the Caribbean island of Curaçao but spent years living in The Netherlands before returning home. Apart from working as a Social Worker, I fed my adventurous spirit by working as a Salsa Teacher, Poet, Tourist Guide and Dive Instructor. After a drastic, life-changing event in 2012, I had to learn how to live again. I needed to face many ugly truths and use past experiences to rebuild my life, which led me to become The Recycled Pirate. I share my Mindfulness methods on Instagram and Twitter.
