Peach Fuzz & Beauty Marks: things that help us Survive our Grief.
Tracey Munson has been writing since she was a young girl, gathering pen pals from various places as she traveled with her parents. That pen pal tradition continues for her today with a special friend. Tracey’s career is focused in communications and public relations, with her writing and photographs appearing in national, regional, and local publications. Tracey’s photographs share stories through landscapes and candid portraits. When writing, you’ll usually find her listening to George Winston’s album, “Autumn,” in the background. Since college. A. Long. Time. Ago. (It works!) Her story, The Faithful Bandanna, was published in Reader’s Digest in 1999, as part of Cotton, Inc.’s The Fabric of our Lives campaign.
Tracey lives on Maryland’s Eastern Shore and is the mother of two wonderful, grown children, and was widowed in 2017. She is community-minded, serving as a past-president of the Talbot Optimist Club and currently as a member of the Rotary Club of Easton. Her soul-feeding places are where the ocean and land meet—especially coastal Maine, Indian River Inlet, Delaware, and Chincoteague, Virginia. Collected rocks and shells are her most treasured possessions.
Growing up, she spent most of her summers in Ocean City, Maryland, spending days in the ocean beyond the waves with friends, hanging off a boogie board, or swimming or water skiing on Assawoman Bay.
Tracey enjoys writing and photographing for non-profits and businesses that work to contribute goodness in the world.
