Vibha Chakravarty

Vibha Chakravarty is a former journalist-turned-freelance editor; she mainly edits books. Living a quiet life in solitude in the Himalayas with her two babies—Wolf-Gaddi, Neirika, and Indie, Bholu (but then there was Pasta and her many litters, Lavaan, Sheket and Li’l Baby who live in her garden, too), she feels terribly awkward writing a bio and prefers to be silent about herself…and in general.

Witnessing clouds shape-shift over Himalayan peaks, entering the world of insects and birds, hearing the bamboo groves creak, jumping into streams with her dogs and forest walks — sprinkled with a lot of silence and stillness, reading, singing, writing, studying and laughing silly with her soul tribe in-between — are a few of her favourite ways of living through time. Obsessing over food and cooking all meals fresh every day, she loves to feed her beloveds and strangers alike — which is her preferred mode of being a social animal.
