Wayne Emerson Gregory Jr.

Wayne Emerson Gregory Jr. is a passionate healthcare worker based in Greenville, South Carolina, who left a lifelong career in project management to pursue this calling. Throughout his new career, he has dedicated himself to offering exceptional service to patients and creating friends out of those he cares for.

Wayne Emerson Gregory Jr. is registered in Georgia and specializes in advanced cardiovascular life support, basic life support, and CPR and AED. Wayne also holds a certification in Stroke Scale from NIHSS.

Education has always been an important part of Wayne’s life. Upon graduation from high school, Gregory continued his education by attending Furman University. His Political Science and Government degree gave him the tools  necessary to excel in his first position, the Project Manager for Greenville, South Carolina. The role required excellent communication skills, the ability to adapt,  and much more.  Gregory proved that he could do each aspect of the job.

Wayne Gregory Emerson Jr. Gregory Jr. also graduated from Piedmont Technical College with  a degree in Nursing in December 2019. He is currently completing his BSN with The University of Alabama and will graduate in August 2021. Wayne Emerson Gregory Jr. also holds a Bachelors of Arts in Government and Political Science from Furman University and a Masters in Public Administration from Clemson University.

Gregory Jr. works as the owner of Gregory Equipment Sales in Spartanburg, South Carolina. This is a role Wayne has held since 2014 and still holds. Before owning his own business, Wayne Emerson Gregory Jr. served as the Economic Development Project Manager for the City of Columbia in South Carolina.

Wayne Emerson Gregory Jr. is also a Board Member of the Columbia Chamber of Commerce, the Food Bank Board, Richland County United Way, South Carolina Developers’ Association, the Internal Economic Developers’ Council, and the Workforce Investment Board.
Aside from Gregory Jr.’s professional pursuits, he is extremely passionate about sports. In particular, Wayne has always had a love for football.
Wayne Emerson Gregory Jr. was an active member of the football and baseball teams while in high school. Growing up in South Carolina, Gregory Jr. was a fan of the South Carolina Gamecocks, and even attended several games as a child. Gregory Jr. says that sports remain a large part of his life to this day. He draws parallels between the competitive mindset that sports requires and nursing.
