The Affirmation I Revisited as I Sat with my Grief.
Yvonne Berenguer is a writer, wellness coach, and educator. She is currently certified in Mindfulness Meditation and Life Coaching and has over 20 years of teaching experience in graduate social work education. Since 2014, she’s been engaged in promoting individual and organizational wellness. She has taught a number of workshops using mindfulness-based tools to university students, private businesses, and county staff. This ultimately led to her partnership with Wellness Options, LLC. She is the co-author of the “Tools for Well-Being” curriculum, which is a series of workshops that incorporate mindfulness, compassion, gratitude, creativity, and positive psychology as tools to enhance personal well-being and resilience. As a natural progression of her journey, she discovered the joys of journaling and poetry. This eventually led to writing more content on personal healing and well-being. In 2012, two of her poems, Windows and Few Words of Support, made the finals in the San Francisco Writers Conference Writing Contest. Of recent, she has completed first draft of her book, Redo’s: Staying Open to What Keeps Showing Up, which she hopes to launch sometime next year. Her blog, Stay Open & Listen can be found on her website: www.yvonneberenguer.com
